RatingDR
RatingDR — a second reading of classic Domain Rating
Domain Rating (DR) is a 0–100 score that estimates how strong a website’s backlink profile is. The problem: a site can have a high DR while the traffic and links behind it don’t hold up — a handful of referring domains, links from a repetitive network, or visits far lower than a score that high would normally bring in.
RatingDR is our own re-check of that same DR number. We look at the traffic, referring domains, and link quality actually backing it up, and recalculate a second 0–100 score from that evidence. If the evidence is thin, RatingDR comes in lower than DR — we call that overrated. If a site is quietly outperforming its DR, RatingDR comes in higher — underrated. You can see that gap for real sites on the Most Overrated and Most Underrated boards.
- · How much organic traffic a site gets, compared to what its DR should predict
- · How many separate referring domains it has, not just how many backlinks
- · Link diversity — links from many different sites count more than many links from one
- · Shown on every public report, the leaderboard, and founder profiles
- · A confidence label when there isn’t enough data to be sure
Think of DR as the headline number and RatingDR as a second opinion on it. Use DR when you want the standard, widely-known score; check RatingDR when you want to know whether that score is actually backed by real evidence.
